The Internet is at the center of modern life keeping you connected and informed through email, IMs, RSS feeds, social networking sites and Search. Keeping up often requires time shifting with companion devices like netbooks. Powered by energy-efficient Intel Atom processors, the HP Mini 110 is optimized for Web access and can handle standard productivity apps - but is light enough to carry everywhere at just 2.33 lbs. Its LED anti-glare display reduces reflection that can distract from the visual experience, especially when used outside. The 92 percent of full-size keyboard enables much more efficient and comfortable use than texting (or typing on smartphone keyboards) for most. Windows 7 makes locating and connecting to hotspots easier and faster than ever. The HP Mini 110 is the perfect device for staying productive, informed and in touch.

I had absolutely no idea what to think with the product. To be honest, I had done very little research on this HP netbook, but I am very pleased with it's performance, thus far. I was told by a friend after she purchased her netbook, that her laptop became a thing of the past and I now understand fully what she meant. It's compact, practical for travel and ideal for those light task of checking emails and surfing the web. For the price, it was certainly a great investment.
Great Christmas gift.

Bought this for my husband to replace a really old laptop we used in the living room. We love how lightweight and portable it is. Fits our surfing needs perfectly.

This is my first time to buy computer at Thanksgiving. It is a great deal and the quality is fine. So I rate this as four star. I can not find any problem on this purchase. Thx!

I picked this up on sale during Black Friday week not expecting very much and have been quite happy with the performance. I would definitely buy this laptop again and would recommend it to friends.
Pros:
+ Keyboard is "easier" to type on than the size would suggest. It takes about a day, but it settles in nicely. Keys are very well made.
+ The white keyboard reflects the screen light at night so it is easier to see the keys than if it were dark.
+ The HP Instant Web that boots up in seconds is a nice touch for those who need it.
+ Performance and battery life are good considering the cost and specs of the machine. With the screen running on 4/10 I can easily get the claimed 3.5hours.
+ While not as thin as some of the other netbooks, it's thin enough.
+ XP runs well on this machine - tested running firefox with 100+ tabs open without any real lag.
+ WiFi range has been excellent. I get a better signal with this machine than I do with my Macbook which is b/g/n.
+ The machine sleeps/wakes quickly and hibernates/wakes quickly.
Cons:
- I've been told the quality of the camera is poor, but for me it's a trade-off between poor quality and having to chase the kids around with a 16" laptop while Skyping with relatives.
- The USB ports are all near the palm rest, so when using a USB 3G/4G modem it will stick up right near your hands.
- Mic/Headphones share a single port (not an issue for me, but perhaps for others)
- The side buttons on the touchpad are instantly hate-able - but I'm starting to get used to them.
- No bluetooth shipped with this model.
- Ships with junk software installed.
- Power light and WiFi light on the front of the machine are far too bright. If they had placed them above the keyboard then at least you could use them to type at night. Walking around with the laptop in the dark is basically like having two LED flashlights going.
- Occasionally it will remind you that it is a netbook and show an "application not responding" for a few moments while it catches its breath - usually after closing an application.
One additional note - the "white" laptop is actually white with lightly colored gray circles. Also, the pictures above show the sides/base of the laptop being white as well, but the laptop actually is black on the bottom/sides - which is probably for the best.

This netbook is an excellent value for the money, and should be very useful, particularly for traveling. The only drawbacks so far are that it does not have a positive closing latch and is a bit complex to set up, but once running, on house current or battery, it meets our needs completely.
